Licensed Clinical Social Worker
I have been in Practice for over 25 years. I earned my Masters in Social Work in 1988 from the Worden School of Social Service at Our Lady of the Lake University. I have a BS in Education from Texas State University and taught elementary school for 10 years.
I specialize in children, adolescnets, and women's issues. I am experienced in working with people with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as well as mood disorders, Bipolar, Attention Deficit Disorder/ Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and behavioral problems.
I utilize an eclectic approach to psychotherapy using: Psychodynamic treatment, behavioral/cognitive treatment, play therapy, Dialectical behavioral treatment, family treatment, behavior modification, parent training,
I enjoy working with people of all ages, cultures, and races. I was raised in a military family and married a former Marine. I have 3 children, 1 dog, and 4 cats.
